INSTALATION
The JET-RPM 2000AP was developed as a jet engine alternative to current day glider propeller engines used in reaching your destination when weather doesn't permit. Also, it is to be used for PRV's and Drones.
The engines have two qualities that are important in aviation:
1. The engine will start on Jet A1
alone, illiminating the use of propane gas. This in turn leads to a higher degree
of operating safety.
2. Engine thrust management has been designed and built with gliders especially
in mind. Simplicity and safety are the key factors, providing safe and efficient
handling on the ground as in flight.

The JET-RPM was
primarily designed to be exterior mounted. Due to the small engine diameter
of 130 mm this has little impact on glide ratio but provides a huge increase
in flight safety. |

Into the engine mounting is developed a release system that allows the engine to be removed once the flight has ended. The fact that the engine is exterior mounted facilitates this process. Retractable engines can be
designed provided that the aircrafts construction permits this. |
